In short

Who we are

Diketo ("the app", "the game", "we", "us") is published by Ekspeace. Contact us at ekspeace@gmail.com.

What data is used, and why

DataWhere it goesWhy
Your best score, best pile, stars, games played, unlocked colours and your settings (rules, difficulty, sound, music and the look of the stones) Stored only on your device To show your records, unlock colours as you play, and keep the game the way you set it up
Advertising ID, device information, and the approximate location Google derives from your IP address Google AdMob To choose and measure the adverts that pay for the game, and to prevent advert fraud

That is the whole list. There is no analytics library, no crash reporter and no server of our own: we never see your scores or how you play. Pass & Play games happen on one phone and nothing about the players is recorded.

Advertising

Diketo is free and funded by ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the menu, pause, settings and results screens, an occasional full-screen advert between games, and an optional rewarded video you can choose to watch for an extra life. Google may collect and use device information and your advertising ID to show and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), the game shows Google's consent message before any ads are requested, and Settings > Privacy > Advert privacy options lets you change your choice at any time.

What may be shown. The game caps adverts at a teen content rating.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).

Permissions

The game asks for nothing else: no contacts, camera, microphone, storage, location or notifications.

Young users

Diketo is a general-audience game for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child under 13.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and laws such as the GDPR where they apply, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Because we hold no accounts or profiles, most requests are handled by clearing the app's data or uninstalling, but you can always contact ekspeace@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the game does with data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
