K53 Ace (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is published by Eks. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and your choices. Contact: Ekspeace@gmail.com.
Summary
K53 Ace is offline-first. Your quiz questions and progress stay on your device. The app uses two third-party services that may process limited data: an AI “Coach” (to explain wrong answers) and Google AdMob (to show ads).
What we collect and why
1. Learning data (stored on your device)
Your selected licence type, quiz answers, scores, study streak, and progress are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app removes them.
2. AI Coach (optional feature)
When you tap “Review Mistake with AI Coach” or “Get AI Study Plan”, the app sends the relevant question text, the answer options, the correct answer, and your selected answer to our secure backend (Supabase Edge Function), which forwards it to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate an explanation. We do not send your name, email, contacts, or device identifiers with these requests.
Do not enter personal information into the app.
See OpenAI's policy at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy and Supabase's at supabase.com/privacy.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads via Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process device information and identifiers (e.g., advertising ID) as described in Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy and Google's advertising partners list.
Consent. Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we present a Google-certified consent message (Google UMP) before serving personalised ads. You can change your choice any time via “Ad choices” in the app. Where consent is not granted, ads are limited or not shown.
Children
K53 Ace is intended for users old enough to apply for a learner's licence. It is not directed at children under 13.
Data retention
Learning data persists on your device until you clear it or uninstall. AI Coach request/response content is processed transiently to generate a reply and is not stored by us for profiling.
Your rights
Depending on your region (e.g., POPIA in South Africa, GDPR in the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to withdraw ad consent. Contact Ekspeace@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
